Swimming Pool Hours
May and June:
Fridays: 5:00-9:00 pm
Saturdays: 1:00-5:00 and 6:00-9:00 pm
Sundays 1:00-5:00
July and August
Sundays-Tuesdays: 1:00- 5:00 and 6:00-9:00 pm
Wednesdays: 1:00- 6:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm
Thursdays-Saturdays: 1:00- 5:00 and 6:00-9:00 pm
Special Events
Our amazing lifeguards and staff at OMRP host a variety of fun activities at the swimming pool throughout the summer.
In the past we have hosted multiple midnight swims each summer where the pool is open until midnight, swimmers can dress up in the chosen theme and the lifeguards serve snacks and play games with the swimmers.
We also have movie nights in the pool where you can bring your floatie and enjoy a movie, popcorn and relax with your friends and family.
We are looking forward to hosting many more fun summer events this year!
Swimming Lessons
We offer multiple sets of NLS Swim For Life swimming lessons during July and August. Registration forms and dates are listed below:
Set 1: July 8-13
Set 2: July 15-20
Set 3: July 22-27
Set 4: Aug 5-10
Set 5: Aug 19-24

Aquasize
Aquasize is a fun way to be active in the water! We offer Aquasize classes during the summer as a fun way to exercise in the swimming pool. It is open to all ages and abilities.
What to expect:
It is a 40-45 minute water workout for all abilities to participate in. One of our lifeguards will guide and demonstrate the workout, you can visit with friends while you exercise and there will be fun music. Feel free to enjoy the hot tub after your workout!

About the Swimming Pool
The Dr. Brown Aquatic Centre located at Oungre Memorial Regional Park is newly renovated and great for all ages. There is a paddling pool, swimming pool and hot tub along with many pool toys and lifejackets which are free for any swimmer to use!
The pool opens on May long weekend every year and closes on September long weekend. Looking for something fun to do this summer? Come down for a swim!
